1.  Send your own* photos to ZOOM

Send your photos to ZOOM to be considered for publication.  We are always looking to showcase the work of both amateur and professional photographers whose work have a Sunshine Coast connection, local artists in various media, and the rich cultural scene of the Coast. Send your photos as .jpg attachments to or you can mail a disc with your images to this address:

* Sending ZOOM your own photos signify that you own the rights to these photos and that you have the permission of the subjects in these photos for publication in ZOOM.  Good quality photos with at least 1200 pixels on the longest side get the best chance of being printed.

2.  Invite ZOOM to your event**, studio, or gallery for a photo coverage

Send an email to with your contact details and some information about the nature of your event or studio, and why you feel that it will be a good fit for publication in ZOOM.  You will be contacted if our editors have decided to arrange for our photographer to visit you.

**Inviting ZOOM to your event signifies that you have informed your attendees that the photos are intended to be used for publication in ZOOM and that you are responsible for securing either a verbal or written permission from their parents if there are minors attending your event.

3.  Submit your event details for posting in our calendar

Simply send an email to with your event details.

4.  Submit your pet photos for consideration in Diego’s Den

Send favourite photos of your pet to , to be considered for inclusion in our very popular section, Diego’s Den.  When sending photos, please make sure you send the highest resolution you have.  High resolution photos, and those that are clear and sharp have the best chance of being published.

5.  Submit your ZOOM travel photos for consideration in Viewfinder

Readers have fun bringing ZOOM with them on their trips, then having their photographs taken with ZOOM with an iconic background as mementos of their trips.  Send your ZOOM travel photos to , to be considered for inclusion in our section, Viewfinder.  When sending photos, please make sure you send the highest resolution you have.  High resolution photos, those that are clear and sharp, and those with very scenic backgrounds or posed in “creative ways”  have the best chance of being published, and in large format!
