The 17th Annual Pender Harbour Jazz Festival features our broadest range of generations of performers ever. Dal Richards, who is a young 95, will lead his Orchestra on Saturday at the Jazzapalooza, and the 20-something youngsters of Jackie Treehorn will funk it up at the Grasshopper. Every age in between will be onstage, once again bringing you a wide range of jazz styles for every ear: Gypsy, Swing, Afro-Cuban, Straight Ahead, Boogie Woogie and many more.
JAZZAPALOOZAS are back Saturday and Sunday afternoons with 4 hours of jazz for a ridiculously low price.
SATURDAY JAZZAPALOOZA is Dal Richards Orchestra, Karen Graves Quartet and Sophia Perlman.
SUNDAY JAZZAPALOOZA is Rumba Calzada, Jennifer Scott & Rene Worst, QuartetEsprit and Van Django.
Headlining this year is the legendary Harold Mabern from NYC with his Trio and Festival Favourite Cory Weeds, Saturday night at the School of Music.
